Item hacker/duper ??

I took some screens from Heath20's inventory and what I saw was rather unusual.
So what you guys think?

that gold dust is from the Nether and that round think is a clock and yeah i think he hacked or duped the diamonds

Gold dust is the glowing yellow things that are at the spawn, gold round thing is a watch, and we have had this discussion many times, you can steal from chests

I'm pretty sure he robbed it...
This stealing thing is annoying, I think you shouldn't be able to steal unless there's health because then you can defend your stuff with a sword, instead of lettting him walk in and take things.
I myself always hide my stuff partly because I'm paranoid.

you cant get diamond ore... (hint: it might be a way to look as if he's "legit" mining the diamond)

Im fair about it at least, if you put your chest in your house and its unreachable unless i have to destroy blocks then i wont go for it

If you have a switch to your diamonds then im going to take your diamonds and come back for more

Its not that I wan't stealing, its that I'm not going to be able to find out who steels and I can't police everything. If you guys we'rent so close to the spawn then you'd be safer.
When we get some towns more developed then we can start prosecuting people for stealing in those towns. But in the wilderness theres nothing I can do.

As for the diamond blocks, yeah they're obviously hacked in since you can't get diamond ore blocks.

i think stealing makes it interesting especially when notch gives us health
but we need to have some ground rules

You don't know if he hacked those diamonds, he could of stolen them from somebody who did hack

How do you steal Diamond Ore Blocks though...

When you mine diamonds you get a cut Gem, the block itself can't be obtained, unless an admin spawns it for you or you hack it.

Somebody he stole from must of had them. Somehow I don't think he hacked because then why would he steal and he? It doesn't make sense as well cause he would have more hacked things.

Uhm, if he found that diamond in that form, why wouldn't he report them? It's not like he cares about people knowing that he steals.

if hes all good and non hacker why would he take them like if u didnt hack then what would be the point of taking em i mean it could get u jailed if some people are unknown and think that ur a hacker and jail you

I'm sorry, but I can't understand you.

just like your comment he should of said it so im basicly saying he probably was the hacker and hacked it for himself cos what would be the point of taking that and not reporting if it was taken

there i wrote rules that addresses many of the questions we raise
and it will be reviewed by phrenic when he gets on
one of them in particular deals with this thread

we are in a pickle.
