how should the server be run?

Post your thoughts on what we should do to the server to make it run more friendly.

I liked the way we ran our last server, It ran very smooth and we had like one or two griefings

Agreed

my thoughts are on cuboid that only admins, and maybe moderators get the privileges of it. Its way to much of a hassle on rage to have to run around and be everyone's bitch for it. And since the online server will being going survival i think it's only fair that you may have your house get blown up. It leaves a problem for getting looted/things broken but that's what building away from spawn and being very secretive about where you live is about.

that is true that its a hassle, cuboid is a different situation when survival comes out.
When survival comes out I want to be able to Blow houses up, I like your only admins idea but i dissagree with the moderator being able to use cuboid, If a moderator becomes able to use it then every single person in the server will have it on theyre buildings.

it was good that the city was very far away from spawn and when people built they could build next to city and have fun without chances of griefing and new players just at the spawn and were having a great time over at the city building eg

toplis im not saying that moderators will get to use the power im saying that an admin will get to cuboid one of their buildings but not a house or anything personal. something like a shop or something of that nature

it should just be shops and vaults eg protect

but there should be a rule aggainst mass griefing i mean like if u built a lets say 100x100 castle u shouldnt be allowed to grief all the castle just like the doors and some houses
and you should also be not allowed to do it while the maker isnt there cos you should be able to defend from attacks but if you fail then some of ur place should be griefed but not mass griefing

griefing is always going to be illegal and against the rules..

I dont think anyone could dissagree with what our old server was like, that system was amazing.

ya know i think whole fucking thing is an insane mess caused by yalls panic and other petty BS

i think doing this democratically is fucking stupid, democracy is a slow process and we need quick and rapid responses
i think rage or bob or another admin should just speak up and say what it is THEY want
because im sure most you will side with them regardless
and hell it was THEY making the decisions that led to past success

idk why we were stupid and built a city at the spawn i know i asked phren to take me 10 mins by superspeed away from the spawn, so i could make my base and it wouldnt be touched
and i dont see why we cant continue that

next i dont see why we are getting so worked up over survival
just because it is survival doesnt mean we have to go on killing sprees, why cant we just not go killing each other as a rule

last but not least, the admins are trying their hardest, thats why i love this server and am willing to give up my time and help them however i can (finding a way too has not been easy)

daemonus again he told us to put in our suggestions about how to make it better and he has decided that its his way or stfu so yah..

no his comment was meaning he wants to know what they want cos they made last server good and they should just do again

no alpha ur taking what hes saying at face value
i suspect the admins are getting fucking tired of people bitching
and having to run everything

all i want to do is make it so they can give us their will and we exact it for them so they arent doing fucking everything
and can enjoy the game themselves
and to do that there needs to be a leader
a single voice, a single and final decisive entity
which atm i think is phren by default but it extends to all the admins atm

and that person just tell us their will and we fucking try and get it done
we can suggest and advise but the decision is theirs
